New HeadChef Andrew Dudley is working his magic at The Plume, helping us forge our way to being a real foodie destination and his love of the Cornish diversity of food will become evident as he creates new and inspiring menus and signature dishes.

We serve a Cornish breakfast from 7:30am–11:30am, and country pub food from midday–10pm.

Let’s Celebrate

While our menu celebrates the best Cornish ingredients, our restaurant is the perfect venue and location for your own personal celebration.

We can blow up the balloons and light the candles, tailor-make menus to your needs, and cater for all dietary requirements.

Signature dishes

Think potted beef and oxtail, club sandwiches stuffed with free-range chicken and childhood classics such as Arctic roll.

Our specials menu changes daily and our signature dishes nod to traditional country pub food: Doom Bar battered local fish and chips, homemade short-crust pies and a Sunday roast that lures diners from all over Cornwall and makes us one of the most popular pubs and restaurants near Truro.

Whether you’re vegetarian, vegan or just have particular tastes, we can cater for all your dietary requirements. We offer gluten-free bread and have at least one gluten-free option on our daily menu. Call us on 01872 510387 to discuss any special requirements.

Producers & Suppliers

Our menu is crammed with delicious local ingredients – from free-range poultry to line-caught seafood. We’re committed to plating up Cornish ingredients in seasonal dishes that are great value for money. Fortunate to be surrounded by some of the region’s best producers, we’re proud to showcase a few of our local food heroes:
